APA Titled Continence & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist โ€” a distinction held by only around 250 physiotherapists across all of Australia.

Yamini is one of Australia's most highly trained pelvic health physiotherapists and co-founder of IntegratePHYSIO. She leads the women's health services from our Narangba clinic, providing expert care across every stage of a woman's life.

She completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University, followed by a Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Continence & Pelvic Health) at Curtin University โ€” earning her APA titling through advanced training and rigorous clinical assessment. Her background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy gives her a rare dual lens that sets her patient care apart.

As a mother of two and a Moreton Bay local, Yamini brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to every consultation โ€” creating an environment that is warm, safe, and deeply patient-centred.

Why pelvic health physiotherapy?
So many women are told that leaking or pelvic pain after having babies is "just normal." It's not โ€” and it's fixable. Once I discovered how much of a difference I could make in this space, there was no going back.

What do you love most about your work?
That moment when a patient realises they don't have to just put up with it. Watching someone regain confidence and control in their own body โ€” that never gets old.

What do you say to almost every patient?
"You're not broken โ€” and this is fixable."

Mum life vs clinic life โ€” which is harder?
Honestly? Evenly matched. Both involve a lot of problem-solving, patience, and strategically timed snacks.

If not a physio, what would you be?
A chef. I cook the way I treat โ€” methodically, with a lot of love, and I'm always taste-testing along the way.

Find you on a Sunday?
At a local park with the family โ€” book in my bag, flat white in hand, pretending I'm relaxed while the kids run riot.

One thing you wish patients knew before they arrive?
That there is zero judgement here. Whatever you're dealing with โ€” we've heard it, we understand it, and we're here to help. No topic is off limits.ย  ย  ย
