Leigh Heinzelmann

Leigh completed her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree in 2006 at WITS University in South Africa. She moved to Australia in 2019 with her family.

Leigh has a special interest in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She particularly enjoys treating conditions of the neck, headaches and vertigo. Leigh has completed Level 1 training at the Watson Headache® Institute and additional vestibular rehabilitation training. Over the years, Leigh has treated a vast range of conditions and enjoys treating people in all stages of life. She believes in treating the cause of any problem and not merely the symptoms.

Leigh danced for over 25 years, which had a great influence in the reason for becoming a physiotherapist. She participated in numerous sports through the years and competed nationally and provincially in rhythmic gymnastics and synchronised swimming. She is a passionate hands-on physiotherapist who believes in using a combined approach of manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation, in order to assist individuals, achieve their goals and return to their desired level of activity.

When not at work Leigh can be found spending time with her family, camping or in the garden.
